Today we were in Constable Country, Suffolk, and were painting Herringfleet Windmill near Lowestoft.
There was quite a bit of drawing to start with, making sure we had the windmill and it's reflection just right.
We created a lovely first wash, filling the sky with colour and the water with reflections.
There was plenty of hairdryer time today, drying our work before adding another layer of colour, as we started to darken our riverbanks, whilst all the time working hard not to lose the lovely light and misty areas created by our first wash.
There are a pair of places available next week for our Autumn Scene, beautiful rich warm colours.
