Tulips Watercolour

The sun was shining and we enjoyed a colourful day studying and painting Tulips with watercolour.

Beautiful backgrounds and gorgeous flowers

Lunch was Saffron & Honey chicken with braised split peas and this colourful Red Cabbage and Quinoa salad

A festive sparkly class today with Claire

The morning was spent drawing and masking

There were some beautiful washes created for the skies and water

Lovely reflections and bullrushes

and the addition of glitter!

Singing in the Rain Watercolour

We held this lovely colourful class recently with Claire, although it is very suited to today's awful wet weather.

Singing in the Rain, puddles, raindrops, stormy skies and vibrant wellies and coats

We used masking fluid to keep the coloured areas and to create splashy raindrops around the painting

Very cute and great fun.

Rhododendrons Watercolour Class

Claire was back last week for the start of this term's Art classes.

Our first class was Rhododendrons. 

Claire started with a beautiful wash of background colours, before working on the flowers.

Meanwhile I was busy making lunch, this week we had a delicious Greek Traybake followed by Roasted Stone Fruits with vanilla ice cream.
