Pastels Class

It was a beautiful sunny day on Thursday for our Pastel Class.

A first for us at Treetops, we've experienced watercolour, mixed media, acrylics and now it was the turn of the pastel.

Claire explained the difference between the pastels, the papers and demonstrated how to blend the colours to create atmospheric pictures.

As you will see below, it was a very busy day with some great pictures created, and most of our group were completely new to pastels:

Hard at work!

We are now enjoying a half term break, Claire and I will shortly be putting together the dates and topics for next term.
