Our Art Tutor Claire Warner is holding an art exhibition alongside one of her Treetops' pupils Jane Little.

Jane from Newbury has been coming to Treetops for approximately seven years now, so it's fantastic to see her hold her first exhibition!

Back on the Beach

Our Coastal and Seascape painting days are always popular, which is why we had two this week.

It was a great way to end this term's classes.

On the Beach Watercolour

We were on the beach today!

Painting some great seascapes, experimenting with various blues and yellow tones.

Again we were concentrating on our back, mid and foregrounds.

Today's tricky part was "people", Claire spent time showing us how to paint people on the beach. 

 

We enjoyed a delicious lunch whilst our early washes dried and after a glass of wine (and meringues and strawberries!) we were ready to get back to work.
